Welcome!

I’m so glad you’re here! I believe everyone deserves a space to explore their voice with confidence, curiosity, and support.

Hanhold Voice Studio is currently a fully online studio, offering high-level, individualized voice training to singers wherever they are. Virtual lessons provide flexibility for busy schedules, eliminate travel time, and allow us to work in the environment where you actually practice and perform—without sacrificing quality or personal connection.

My studio is open to singers ages 10 and up, of all experience levels and musical backgrounds. Whether you’re just starting out, preparing for auditions, navigating repertoire choices, or expanding into a new style, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

I specialize in functional vocal cross-training, meaning we build a strong, healthy technical foundation that transfers across styles—including classical, musical theater, pop, and other contemporary genres. Lessons are rooted in science-informed pedagogy and singing health, with an emphasis on efficiency, sustainability, and artistic freedom.

For students preparing for auditions, performances, competitions, or college programs, I also offer customized audition coaching and repertoire support, tailored to your goals and timeline.

This is a studio where all voices are welcome, growth is celebrated, and your unique artistry is supported—every step of the way.

What Student’s Are Saying

Teaching Experience

Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of working with singers at the professional, pre-professional, and avocational levels, helping them develop their skills and confidence across a variety of musical styles. My teaching experience spans community music schools, colleges, and private studios, giving me the opportunity to work with diverse learners in many different settings.

While at the Cincinnati School of Music, I taught piano lessons in addition to voice, working with over 100 students in just two years. At the collegiate level, I have held faculty positions at The University of Toledo and Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio, where I worked with both undergraduate and graduate voice majors and minors. I also served as a graduate assistant at The Ohio State University, teaching primarily musical theatre minors.

Beyond one-on-one instruction, I have enjoyed serving as a music director for several community theatre productions and as a soprano section leader for multiple church choirs.
